We are becoming more and more isolated even as we are becoming individual “works of art.” Human beings are like “stained glass windows” each one working to create a unique piece, and no matter how beautiful , every one needs the light in order to be revealed. The light of conversation is “more precious than gold” according to Goethe, and yet, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the way to another human being. Finding the love within, finding the first words, finding the other person, weaves us into the universal ongoing conversation that is always in creation with God.
