Dear Friends,
We invite you to join in a Christian Community Lay Service on Dec 3rd at 10:30 am in the home of Buddy and Sarah Smiley at 228 Forest Hill Rd. Chapel Hill, NC 27514. For those of you who have never attended a Lay service, we sing, recite the Creed and the Lords Prayer and join in a meaningful conversation about the gospel selection for that week. We also break bread, albeit gluten free crackers in most cases, and spend time enjoying each other’s company in the snack and coffee time after the service. It is an important deed for the spiritual world for us to gather and feed the angel who watches over our Christian Community.
Everyone is welcome and feel free to bring guests or family members who are open to the Christian message. Healthy contributions to the snack are appreciated but not required.
