Mary sits at the Lord’s feet and listens to His words. Our listening heart, our attentiveness is what is being called for now.
We live in a world filled with anxiety, fear and greed. This is the atmosphere we breathe. But it need not become our reality. We have something much stronger and long-lasting than any material, or any drug or distraction. It builds upon itself like a well-maintained garden, musicality or any acquired skill. It creates the space for the Divine will in us. We are the vessels through which the Holy Spirit can work. We are realizing the spiritual world in this world, day by day.
